RPC

Traditional restoration mortar based on coarse plaster and lime for repairing façade mouldings and architectural details

General

RPC® by Saint-Astier is a traditional restoration mortar made from coarse Paris plaster, lime, siliceous sand and specific additives. Developed according to historical plaster recipes, this mortar is specifically designed for the restoration of façades originally rendered with gypsum plaster. The coarse grain of traditional plaster combined with lime ensures excellent workability and strong adhesion to historic mineral substrates.

RPC® is used for the repair and reconstruction of historic plaster renders and decorative façade details. It is particularly suitable for restoring mouldings, cornices, string courses, quoins and window surrounds. The mortar can also be used for partial repairs of gypsum renders, levelling masonry with plaster and restoring timber frame structures and half-timbered façades.

RPC complies with EN 998-1 and is classified as plaster mortar type GP.
