TRADÉCO (HL 3.5)

TRADÉCO (HL 3.5) is a natural hydraulic lime specially developed for the preparation of hemp-lime mortars and plasters. When combined with hemp fibres, it forms the basis of a mineral plaster finish in which the hemp fibres can remain visible.

Hemp-lime plasters combine natural hydraulic lime with hemp, a plant-based material. They are used in building and renovation projects where natural materials, a vapour-permeable construction and the distinctive appearance of exposed hemp fibres are desired. Depending on the composition and thickness of the application, a hemp-lime plaster system can also contribute to the thermal insulation of the building envelope.

Thanks to its good plasticity and vapour permeability, TRADÉCO is suitable for traditional lime-based plaster systems, for both manual and machine application. It is particularly relevant for renovation projects involving lime-based materials, without the addition of cement.

TRADÉCO has been developed for hemp-based plasters formulated with natural hydraulic lime HL 3.5 and complies with French standard LMDC No. ET/10.157 b.

Applications

TRADÉCO is used to prepare hemp-lime mortars and plasters for building and renovation projects. It is intended for systems in which natural hydraulic lime is combined with hemp fibres.

It is particularly suitable for projects requiring a natural hemp-lime plaster finish with visible fibres. Depending on the composition, application thickness and installation method, such a plaster system can also contribute to thermal insulation.
