Drogenbos Castle

In Drogenbos, the historic Château Drogenbos underwent a complete facade restoration, carried out by G-Line Construct. The building was finished with a traditional, handmade render system, fully composed of Saint-Astier NHL 3.5 lime and local sand, ensuring an authentic and long-lasting result.

The restoration was applied in three carefully measured layers:

1. Stipple coat (gobetis): 25 kg lime + 6 buckets of sand (60 L)
2. Base coat (corps): 25 kg lime + 7–8 buckets of sand
3. Top coat (finishing): 25 kg lime + 10–12 buckets of sand

This artisanal method preserves the historic construction techniques and heritage character of the chateau, providing a durable and visually appealing facade.
