CHAUX TÉRÉCHAUX - NHL 2

CHAUX TÉRÉCHAUX® is a pure NHL 2 natural hydraulic lime, compliant with NF EN 459-1, produced by Saint-Astier.

Obtained by firing and slaking limestone naturally rich in silica, without any additives, this natural hydraulic lime combines hydraulic setting with carbonation in air. It allows the production of breathable, durable mortars and renders compatible with traditional materials such as natural stone, brick and historic masonry.

Thanks to its low hydraulicity, CHAUX TÉRÉCHAUX® is particularly suitable for historic masonry, soft stones and sensitive traditional substrates. It is mainly used for the formulation of rendering mortars, pointing mortars and limewashes, especially in heritage restoration, decorative hemp-lime renders and traditional masonry works.
