Solvent-based injection hydrofuge against rising damp
RC 310 ECO is a solvent-based injection cream designed to treat masonry affected by rising damp. It is suitable for both thin and very thick walls. The product is based on oligomeric siloxanes and organometallic compounds dissolved in aliphatic solvents.
Properties
RC 310 ECO penetrates deep into the pores of the masonry, where it polymerises to form a durable water-repellent barrier. This permanent waterproof layer effectively blocks capillary action and prevents moisture from rising through the wall, even in cases of severe rising damp.
The moisture barrier becomes active within 48 to 72 hours after application. Full drying of the wall depends on factors such as wall thickness, material type and the initial moisture level, and may take between 6 and 12 months.
Under normal conditions, the treatment offers a permanent and highly effective solution against rising damp.
